Progressive adaptation
Struggling with your progressives?
Narrow corridors. Distortion at the edges. Headaches during adjustment.
These are not inevitable side effects of progressive lenses, they are often the result of
inaccurate measurements, an unsuitable lens design for your lifestyle, or both.
If you have been told you simply cannot adapt to progressive lenses, or if your current
progressives are not working the way you expected, book a lens consultation at Panorama
Vision. We regularly see patients who have struggled elsewhere and help them find progressive
lenses designed around their prescription, visual needs and lifestyle, for clearer and more
comfortable vision from day one.
The combination of premium progressive lenses and advanced digital measurements at
Panorama Vision provides an exceptionally precise solution for comfortable, natural
progressive adaptation. Every lens is carefully tailored to your individual prescription,
visual requirements and lifestyle, helping you enjoy clear, seamless vision at every distance.
What we check
- Whether the corridor sits where your pupil actually sits, measured on you, in the frame you are wearing.
- Whether the frame has slipped or spread since it was fitted, which moves the reading zone out of position.
- Whether the lens design suits your day. A desk-heavy job and a driving-heavy job need different corridors.
- Whether a second pair of office lenses would solve the problem better than a stronger progressive.
If your progressives were made elsewhere, that is not a problem. Bring the
glasses and the prescription, and we will tell you what is wrong before we quote for anything.
