Computerised refraction followed by subjective testing, taken at an unhurried pace. You leave understanding what your prescription means for your eyes, not just holding a number on a slip.

What actually happens when you walk in
No queue system, no pitch at the door. This is the order things usually go in, and it takes about forty minutes.
We ask what you need
Whether it is a first pair, a replacement, a spare for the office, or something has been bothering you about the pair you are wearing. What you say here shapes everything that follows.
Eye test, if you need one
Computerised refraction followed by subjective testing, checked against your current glasses. If your prescription has not moved, we will tell you that rather than write a new one.
Frames, narrowed down
We pull a shortlist based on your face shape, your prescription strength and how you live. Fewer frames on the counter, each one there for a reason. You try them; we say honestly which ones work.
Lens decisions, explained
Index, coatings, and design, with the trade offs laid out. Thinner lenses cost more and sometimes you do not need them. We will say so.
Measurement and fitting
Pupillary distance and fitting heights measured on your chosen frame, not estimated. For progressives this is the step that decides whether they work.
Collection, and after that
We fit them on you, adjust, and check the vision before you leave. Come back any time for tightening or realignment. There is no charge for that, this year or in five years.

Before you come in
Questions we get asked most
The short answers. There are more on the FAQ page, and you can always just message the shop.
Do I need an appointment for an eye test?
No. Walk in any time Monday to Saturday between 10:30 am and 8 pm. If you would rather avoid a wait, message us on WhatsApp and we will suggest a quieter time.
Can you put new lenses in my existing frame?
Usually. If the frame is structurally sound we can reglaze it to your new prescription, which is often the sensible option when only your eyes have changed. See lens replacement.
How do I know a frame is genuine?
Every label we carry is sourced through authorised channels, and each frame comes with its brand case, cloth and documentation. If something you are considering elsewhere seems unusually cheap, bring it in and we will look at it with you.
The people behind it
Two generations, one standard
Panorama Vision was founded by Kalpesh Doshi, who built the shop around a simple rule: recommend what is right for the person in front of you, even when something else would be easier to sell.
Darshil Doshi has carried that rule forward and grown the store, adding in-house testing, a wider lens range and more labels on the shelf. What has not changed is the standard the shop was started on.
If we consistently do what is right for the customer, everything else follows.
